Novan Solar System Chosen for New Colorado Springs Recreation Center
Golden, Colo. - Novan Solar Inc. of Golden, Colorado was chosen for the design and installation of a 68-panel solar thermal system for pool heating at the new University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Recreation Center. It will be installed in the fall of 2008.

Federal Solar Tax Credits Extended for 8 Years, US Poised to Become Largest Solar Market in the World - Industry Leaders Forecast Dramatic Growth in the U.S. Solar Market by 2016 with Extension of Credit
WASHINGTON – Today, by a vote of 263-171, the U.S. House of Representatives passed historic legislation that extends the 30-percent federal investment tax credit for both residential and commercial solar installations for 8 years. This landmark legislation is part of H.R. 1424, the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, designed to address the U.S. financial crisis. It is the most significant federal policy ever enacted for the solarindustry. President Bush has vowed to sign the bill into law. The Senate passed the bill on Wednesday night.

Novan to Install One of Nation’s Largest Solar Hot Water Systems
For Hotels at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa
Golden, CO – Novan Solar Inc. of Golden, CO will install one of the nation’s largest solar hot water systems ever built for a hotel at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Novan solar thermal system will provide domestic hot water for guest rooms, the main laundry services room and all the restaurants at the 492-room resort.

New Andaluz Hotel in Albuquerque to Use Novan Solar System for Hot Water
Golden, CO - The new Andaluz, formerly the La Posada de Albuquerque Hotel, will reopen late this year in downtown Albuquerque, New Mexico with a 73-panel solar thermal system from Novan Solar Inc. of Golden, Colorado, that will provide domestic hot water for the hotel.

Novan Installs Solar Pool Heating System for New Flagstaff Recreation Center
Golden, CO - The new Aquaplex Recreation Center in Flagstaff, Arizona will feature a 63-panel solar thermal system from Novan Solar Inc. of Golden, Colorado. This solar system will provide a significant portion of the energy needed to heat a large aquatics area - a state of the art leisure pool that includes two indoor/outdoor body slides, a “current channel,” family whirlpool, and a three- lane lap pool.

Novan Solar System Installed at Denver’s Gathering Place
Denver, Colo -- A solar water heating system has been installed by Novan Solar, Inc. at The Gathering Place, Denver’s only daytime drop-in center for women and children who are experiencing poverty or homelessness. The system was chosen because of the high-efficiency and short payback when time compared to other renewable options such as photovoltaic or geothermal.

New Erie Recreation Center Opens with Novan Solar System
Novan Solar Inc. of Golden, Colorado has recently completed a 70-panel solar thermal system for the new Erie Recreation Center in Erie, Colorado. The heating system will generate nearly 9,200 therms (the equivalent of 275 MWh) of energy every year. This will provide a significant portion of the energy needed to heat a large aquatics area replete with a lap pool, leisure pool, whirlpool, water slide with splash tank, lazy river, and outdoor water sculpture and spray area. More than sixty metric tons of carbon dioxide (green house gases) will be offset by the system each year.

Novan Solar Announces Marketing Agreement with Quadna, Inc.
DENVER, Colo. -- Novan Solar, Inc. of Golden announced today that it has signed a marketing agreement with Quadna, Inc., a leading supplier of fluid handling systems in the U.S. based in Phoenix, Arizona, with offices in Golden. Quadna will become an authorized sales representative for Novan's industrial solar thermal systems.
